9th Grade: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
10th Grade: I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou.
11th Grade: The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
12th Grade: Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott.
Students should be prepared to discuss and work with the titles above by the first day of school.
